RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY PROJECT IN YEREVAN

The multistory residential building project was implemented in the district surrounded by Vardanants, Nar-Dos, Qajaznuni and Zavaryan streets in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan. During the execution of the project, studies were carried out in the area based on the provided sample. Studying the site, the dense construction and street network were taken into account. It was decided to preserve the existing residential high-rise, and to bring the residential houses to sale, either due to the violation of construction norms or from an aesthetic point of view.
Construction in the above area was carried out in 3 types of blocks․ They form blocks that differ from each other both in terms of plan and volume-spatial design. Pergolas were used on the roofs in the design for both horizontal and vertical coverage. In the project, much attention was paid to greening, vertical greening was used to create a more eco-friendly and natural environment, pedestrian crossings were also paid attention to, in order to lighten local traffic, a secondary street scheme was proposed. Constructions of public significance are also planned on the first floors of residential buildings on Vardanants and Qajaznuni streets. As a result of the project, there is a decrease in the building density and an increase in the greening factor in the yard.
